Meet Caio Rocha
Caio G Rocha is a psychologist, neuroscientist, trainer, and supervisor with over 18 years of experience. He specialises in complex presentations, addictions, personality disorders, treatment failures, complex PTSD, ADHD, and general mental health issues.
Caio has provided individual and group services for adults, children, and adolescents. He uses several therapeutic modalities, including Schema Therapy and DBT, to deliver tailor-made, individualised treatment programmes.
Background and Education
After graduating as a Psicólogo Clínico (doctors equivalent) at Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo, Caio pursued several advanced degrees from prestigious institutions, including:
- International Institute of Therapy and Education in the Netherlands (ITHAN)
- International Institute for Therapy and Education as an Addiction Specialist and Therapist
- Neuroscience of Behaviour with Prof Andrey Mayer from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro
- Schema Therapy Institute London, trained and supervised by Joan and Ida Shaw
Caio is an Associate Fellow and Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society, a Full Member of the International Society of Schema Therapy, and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Neuroscience at King’s College London.
